About LAND Journals 

LAND Journals is a new online platform that aims to create conversations, features and stories around the themes of ‘truthfulness’, with the aim of showing a more real and authentic self and way of showing up in the World. LAND aims to create honest, mainly un-retouched imagery, to have important conversations about identity, the world itself and how we can make a difference within it. 

We aim to create a well-thought-out, curated online space that shares its own individual collective viewpoint, with a community of like-minded people who value art, discussing world issues, innovative design, minimalism and specifically curated, intelligent content. We believe that by starting from the LAND upwards, that we can meet in an honest, brave place - best representing the values that we believe in and to create the sort of dialogue that we would like to see ourselves.

LAND Collective

At our heartbeat and core, LAND is about people. We want to celebrate all people and all aspects of humanity. Lifting the people that we admire - of value, of power, of high ethics and achievement, into the spotlight - where they so rightfully deserve to be. We want to promote the sort of people that we’d want as friends; passionate, fun, intelligent, unashamedly themselves and working from their hearts and on their life’s purpose. Untethered people, have something special. They are brave, big-hearted and courageous. They take risks, have difficult conversations with compassion, they think carefully about their place in the World and how they can be of most value, continuously pushing past obstacles, stepping out each day with conviction, pride in who they are and comfort in their skin. No matter the obstacles, no matter their history or ancestry, they show up, over and over. Never seeking attention for attention's sake, never looking for outside measurement, they know who they are and don’t give a damn if you approve or not.  They are modern and renegade, with a purpose on the planet to look at the bigger picture and to make choices based on love and conviction. In essence, we are here to champion these people and to grow a community based on mutual support, care and respect. After all, what is done to one person is done to all, and we aim to support and include everyone in the conversation.

Our Philosophy

We aim to make choices that empower our audience, to create a space that has a ripple effect outwards, a community and a place to feel accepted and appreciated. Thoughtful decisions that bring minimum impact to the environment, people and animals and maximum effect to improvement of lives, community and of the eco-system. We aim to work with brands, designers and companies that are pioneering sustainability, eco values, technology that improves lives and alongside the movers and shakers who are making these moves forward. Our focus is on cruelty-free, chemical-free, sustainable everything and we will do our very best to uphold these values in a competitive marketplace.

Our Subjects of Interest

Our main focus will be; Beauty, Fashion, Style, Architecture, Travel, Art, Culture, Wellbeing and Wisdom all encompassed through the LAND aesthetic, ethos and attitude. We favour style over trends, longevity, long-term choices and solidly built relationships.

As LAND Journals progresses on it’s journey, a portion of the profits (to be decided and made transparent at a further date when there are enough subscribers to make it possible) will both be poured back into growing the platform, and then also invested into purchasing land for conservation purposes, via The Worldland Trust and other suitable charitable organisations, when enough research is completed on the safest organisations to invest in.

These purchases of land will therefore be community made, from us all, and the purchase and outcome of our investment will be shared with LAND readers and subscribers, as and when it becomes possible. This is my promise to you.

This means that LAND can continue to make ongoing direct investments into conservation projects and the protection of our wildlife and ecology for generations to come.
